Wow we caught the All Blacks at the InterContinental Hotel in Wellington last weekend after the All Black/South Africa game!! So here are some photos...

Hi everybody - well it has been way too long since my last post - bad me!!! here are some photos of the current soccer season - going well!!! and a couple of Finn in his current Karate Grading - proud mum - he is now a Yellow Belt (with 1 stripe after this grading!!)

Finn's 10th Birthday

Finn had a fantastic time at his 10th birthday party - can't believe he is a metric teenager now!! - we went to the new Strike Entertainment Centre in the Hutt - brand new and fantastic - most of them had never played lazer strike before so weren't sure what to expect! and who wants to believe your mother when they tell you she played when she was younger and loved it!!! They wouldn't stop talking about how awesome it was when they finished!!! Thank you to everyone who sent Finn birthday pressies - he loved the lot!!

We went to Mitre10 and they had face painters there... well all the other kids were getting butterflys, tigers and princess type faces - of course this is what Finn wanted!!! very very cool!!

Penny and Aurora in NZ

This is Finn at the Gifted Kids display night - they all did projects on Change - Finn did the Change of War - the evening was lots of fun and it was great to see all the projects!!

Most Improved Player 2007

Well it has been way too long since adding anything to our blog - so now I will do a huge lot of stuff!!! these two photos are of Finn and the Naenae soccer club when he won Most Improved Player! he was absolutely thrilled (as were we!!) Well done Finn :-)

Finn and the Naenae dolphins went to watch the Wellington Phoenix play at the stadium... was a great game!

Soccer Season

Well it is soccer season - Finn is playing for the Naenae Dolphins this year... they are currently top of their league!! well done! and last week Finn was player of the day!
Player of the Day!!! - Also they were playing the Lower Hutt Grasshoppers, which coincidentally happen to have Noel's business partners daughter in the team! so winning against them was all the more sweeter!! he he he!

Appendicitis

Well it has been way too long since we last posted! sorry been busy!!

well Finn was taken to Hutt Hospital last month with acute appendicitis - he's a funny boy and takes things very literally.... when sitting down not moving, he was asked what number the pain was i.e. 1 being nothing - 10 being really really bad! - well of course sitting down not moving Finn says the pain is about a 2 or 3 - so of course I am thinking there is no way it can be appendicitis! - until he tried to move and it got to a 7!

Well anyway he had the operation and yes acute appendicitis and he has a scar to show off!! He thinks it is not big enough!! ha ha ha

I will post some photos this weekend!

Mean while he had his first game of soccer for this season on Saturday - unfortunately they lost 3-1 but had a great time nonetheless!

As for Noel, he is playing for the Naenae 2nd team and reserve for the first team!! lots of training but well done :-)
